Longnets

Longnets are one of my more regularly used capture tactics. These nets are set either around a burrow or to split up a hedge or woodland. The rabbits bolt from burrow and head for another safe place, yet get intercepted by the meshes of this net. They are normally set at a height of about 2ft with plenty of “slack, bagging or kill” to ensure rabbits become hopelessly entangled. Nets can be made out of a variety of materials, although my preferences are hemp, flax or linen.
