Not only are they low-maintenance, being machine washable and having undetectable seam fusion for an invisible feel, but they’re also very robust and sturdy. You can really put these socks through a lot but thanks to their performance fit, cushion density, and all weather performance (promising no slipping, no bunching, and no blisters). They’re a bit pricey for socks, but if you’re going to be out in harsh conditions a lot, then you need to see these socks as an investment.

Otter socks have a great sandwich design which are extremely comfortable and durable, with an interlining layer being made of waterproof and breathable material between a mostly nylon outer later and merino wool inner later. And because much of the socks’ design, they are great for people who might suffer allergies from certain materials. The party piece of these boot socks is definitely the interlining, which is made from a plastic membrane, Gore-Tex-like material that has very small holes large enough to allow vapour from sweat to escape from within but are still small enough to stop water droplets getting in from the elements.
